I tried to get my card done during my lunch break today, wound up taking what I thought was all my supplies for it back to work to finish it because I was by myself in the office today. Then when I realized what I had left home I had some improvising to do. You can read more about that on my blog http://papervernissage.blogspot.com/...uesday-53.html

Lorraine, I was looking in the gallery and knew right away that this was a teapot card. I love the subtle lines behind your beautiful flowers. The party has been pretty tame compared to some. There have been a lot of bugs. So I hope you brought your bug spray. A group of us are setting our lawn chairs to see the fireworks and light show. If the electricity ever comes back on. Kelly is looking for a horse ride home. I sat on a chocolate bar. Like I said pretty tame party. I am glad you finally made it. It wouldn't be the same without you!!

Well I am impressed - I must say that your improvised crimping looks better than what I can get with my crimper!! And Pretty Petals - I never thought of that, but it is just absolutely perfect for the teapot. I can't imagine the blue being any better than you got it here.

Hi Lorraine! I saw your card last night before I went to bed but since I had realized I had been snoozing on the couch for an hour I was afraid to leave you a comment. Who knows what my fingers may have typed! Giggle!
This is so pretty! The colors are so awesome! I love that you captured the stripes and flowers in a wonderfully showcased little frame! I cannot tell you have many times the idea of stamping in my office has crossed my mind! Yikes!
So glad you could come to our tea party again! Did you have a head ache last night from eating all that chocolate! I did, but then I ate more than you did! Snort!
Off to your blog to see what transpired at your job! Hee!

Very lovely red framing Lorraine. I love the red bow too. This is some classy and feminine card. Is that blue I see...blue is my favourite color you know. Great teapot card. Are you in the chocolate pool or are you waiting for the fireworks. Let me look around. TFS Have fun at the party!

Oh, this is sooo pretty! I was toying with the idea of using Pretty Petals and am so glad I didn't. Because your card is as perfect as they come! So very pretty with details that abound. Love that butterfly (my soft spot), your jeweled ribbon embellishment and that perfect paper piercing. Outstanding!
